Will Norris uses it and highly recommends it:
- 2014-06-23 : Google Domains (archived)
gRegor Morrill: I tried it on 2017-07-21 to buy a new domain
- Really simple registration process
- DNS nameserver updates were also simple and propagated very quickly
- Over the following years, I moved most of my domains there from Domainmonster, partly because they were being acquired [1] and I enjoyed the Google Domains experience
- 2024-04: after domain registration migrated to Squarespace, I moved my domain registrations to Porkbun. I'm not a big fan of Squarespace and their pricing appeared it might go up to $20/year from the $12/year I was paying Google Domains.
Dmitri Shuralyov uses it and highly recommends it:
- clean, simple, minimal UI and pleasant user experience
Anthony Ciccarello used it on ciccarello.me for it's ease of setup, reasonable pricing, and simple email forwarding. Switched to NameCheap after the purchase by Squarespace was announced.
